Leonard Higgins, Senior Vice President of Advanced Services

Lenny Higgins brings a broad understanding of the voice and data telecommunications industry to the Bresnan management team.

Since joining the Company in 1996, Mr. Higgins has directed Bresnan’s entry into the telephony and high-speed data markets. Additionally, Mr. Higgins developed new and innovative business opportunities in the telecom area, growing Bresnan’s telecommunications business unit to over $10 million in revenue after two years of operation.

Previously, Mr. Higgins was Executive Director of Strategic Business Development at Bellcore. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Development for Sutton Capital, Inc., a telecommunications investment company with interests in cable television systems, cellular operations and alternate access networks. While at Sutton, Mr. Higgins directed the development of an alternative local telecommunications network in New Jersey and Sutton’s participation in the FCC’s PCS auctions. He was also Director of Corporate Development for Teleport Communications Group from 1988 to 1993, where he oversaw the expansion of its local telecommunications networks into a number of new markets. Mr. Higgins received a BA in Economics from Syracuse University and an MBA from Monmouth College in New Jersey.
