Patrick J. Bresnan, Senior Vice President

Pat Bresnan brings close to 40 years of experience in cable operations management, marketing and community relations to the Bresnan management team.

Formerly Bresnan’s Vice President of Marketing, Mr. Bresnan assumed the position of Vice President of Community Development in 1998. In this role, he has overseen the development and growth of the Company’s relationships with government, media, education and opinion leaders in the communities served by Bresnan Communications. This has included working with local officials to implement programs utilizing the Company’s technology to benefit the community.

Mr. Bresnan began his cable TV career in 1965 as Advertising Manager for Jack Kent Cooke, Inc. (which later became Teleprompter Corporation) in Beverly Hills, CA, and subsequently held positions with the company as General Manager for systems in Keene, NH, Sault Ste. Marie, MI and Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. In 1969, he was appointed General Manager of the Ironwood, MI system and District Manager of the Great Lakes District. In addition, he served as General Manager of Teleprompter’s El Paso, TX system and District Manager for its Rocky Mountain District. In 1986, Mr. Bresnan re-joined the Great Lakes District as District Manager for Bresnan Communications, which had acquired the region’s systems. He joined the headquarters management group in 1988. Mr. Bresnan is a member of the Cable TV Pioneers.
